The challenge while designing this house was to maximize the relationship with the adjacent golf course that is on an angle while maintaining privacy from the opposite units.
The main approach was to put all living spaces on GF on an angle in order to block the view from the opposite blocks and allow maximum openness towards the golf course that is located at perpendicular direction vs the proposed angle.
On the first floor, the angle is canceled and the volume follows the axis of the plot thus creating a fantastic shaded area over the pool and the outdoor sitting space. Privacy on this floor is treated with wooden claustra.
The main stairs are the pivot around which both directions are turning and these same stairs with their glass volume bring natural light to the basement area.
The roof floor indoor area is designed like a Mirador that sits on top of everything and that is projecting beyond the volume to create a space with unobstructed views towards the Golf Course and the surroundings.
The full volume is treated with one material in order to put more emphasis on its sculptural shape.
